Today we slipped into a matinee of the new movie Am I Racist? Here’s my very short review of it.
Impactful. Funny. Needed. First scene, not so much, but most scenes, yes. The Robin DiAngelo scene was beautiful. Fool. Scammer. Cult leader. The dinner scene was striking. Do people actually pay for such dinners? How long has this been going on?
My take-away is simple. Exceptions to the Golden and the Silver Rules are rare. In day-to-day life, adhere to them always.
The Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
And the Silver Rule: Do not do unto others as you would not have them do unto you.
If you say Matt Walsh was unfair, I say, justice and liberty for all. Surround yourself with people that practice the Golden and Silver Rules. If you’re involved with a cult that doesn’t: get out!
Here’s a more thorough review by Bryan Caplan.
